About us

Here at True Vine Ministries, we believe our purpose is to:

Celebrate God through praise and worship

Win new converts/souls through witnessing

Make disciples through Bible training

Exalt God’s love through evangelistic outreach

Ministry Statement: True Vine Ministries is a fellowship of committed believers ministering in the Bay Area.  We seek to reach people of all ages with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, provide meaningful worship, fellowship, discipleship, service opportunities for believers and support ministries beyond our community.

Our philosophy of ministry is born of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20) and of the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ (Matthew 22:37-39).  This philosophy consists of recognizing and developing the gifts of the Holy Spirit present in all believers for the works of worship, teaching/preaching, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, missions, compassion, fellowship/hospitality, strengthening of the family, and administration. True Vine Ministries, endowed with God's power and wisdom, is to be a center for training in leadership and service, as well as a beacon of Christian witness in and beyond the Oakland community.

Belief Statement: We believe that every Christian should be baptized (immersed) in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; that baptism is an outward act of obedience, symbolic of God’s inner work of regeneration, and that it represents the believer’s identification with Christ. We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper as the continual, spiritual fellowship with our Savior for believers only, and that by doing this, we remember His death until he comes.

We believe in the ultimate triumph of Jesus Christ, His church and the righteousness at His appearing, in the resurrection of the dead, in the eternal blessedness of the saved and in the eternal, conscious suffering of the unsaved.
