Soldiers Against Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.) was created as a Stop the Violence campaign to represent those who stand in the neighborhoods for peace, as well as for those who participate in marches for peace. S.A.V.E. is a grassroots movement involving citywide engagement, providing solutions, and acting in the spirit of service. Our goal is to raise awareness around the need to reduce the number of deaths by murder in Oakland CA, while empowering its citizens to take back the streets.
